Actor Simon Pegg and director Edgar Wright have announced plans for a third spoof comedy movie.

Actor Simon Pegg and director Edgar Wright have announced plans for a third spoof comedy movie.

The pair, who co-wrote and worked together on 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz', are set to collaborate on a new project, provisionally titled 'The World's End'.

The move is part of a new two-film deal Wright has agreed with Working Title Films, which also involves him making a separate action thriller, currently called 'Baby Driver'.

Wright said: "Working Title have been fantastic to work with and hugely instrumental in bringing the work of myself, Simon, and producer Nira Park to the screen.

"We've had a lot of fun with them so far and it delights me to continue the partnership in the future with new material and bold directions."

Last year, Pegg said he was keen to complete what he labelled the "blood and ice-cream trilogy", which features a returning cast of actors including Pegg's 'Spaced' co-star Nick Frost.
